Ruhlmann-Style Art Deco Coffee Table

We recreated this classic Ruhlmann-style coffee table for a Manhattan interior design project inspired by the Art Deco period. Based on an iconic 1930s design by French furniture designer Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, the table was carefully reproduced using traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. Our craftspeople used CNC programming to recreate the delicately carved corner spheres, refining the size and spacing of each flute. The wood was finished with a lustrous French polish, while a specialist glass artist created a custom Art Deco–inspired églomisé glass insert for the tabletop.
